Starting from a static black hole spacetime surrounded by a Hernquist distribution, we construct its rotating counterpart through the noncomplexification formulation of the Newman-Janis algorithm and analyze the modifications induced by the halo parameter $\\rho$ and the rotation parameter $a$.
