Methods: B-tensor encoding was performed in 42 patients with intracranial tumors (gliomas, meningiomas, adenomas, metastases). Microscopic anisotropy and tissue heterogeneity were evaluated by estimating the anisotropic kurtosis ($MK_A$) and isotropic kurtosis ($MK_I$), respectively.
