Contrary to previous studies where the interaction between the spin and the line of charge is neglected, here we consider its effects. This interaction gives rise to a point interaction: $\\boldsymbol{\\nabla} \\cdot \\mathbf{E}= (2\\lambda/\\alpha)\\delta(r)/r$.
