It was found that Nd-vacancies introduce localized electronic states resulting in the variable range hopping transport at low temperatures. At a fixed Nd-vacancies concentration, a crossover from Mott to Efros-Shklovskii (ES) variable range hopping transport was observed with decreasing temperature.
