Arterial walls are modeled by a {linearly viscoelastic, cylindrical Koiter shell model capturing both radial and longitudinal displacement}. Fluid flow is modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations for an incompressible, viscous fluid. The two are fully coupled via kinematic and dynamic coupling conditions.
