A large number of relatively small hydrocarbon structures, containing traces of heteroatoms (oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur) were considered, including aliphatic chains, compact and concatenated hexagonal and pentagonal rings. Their ir (infrared) spectra were computed using standard chemistry software.
