It is observed that the Faddeev--Popov ghost propagator is divergent in this spacetime. However, this divergence is removed by using an effective propagator, which is suitable for perturbation theory. To show that the quantization of Yang--Mills theory in the de Sitter is consistent, we quantize it using first-class constraints in the temporal gauge.
