We investigate a power-law random graph model and cast it in the graphon framework. The distinctively different structures of the limit graph are explored in detail in the sub-critical and super-critical regimes. In the sub-critical regime, the graph is empty with high probability, and in the rare event that it is non-empty, it consists of a single edge. Contrarily, in the super-critical regime, a non-trivial random graph exists in the limit, and it serves as an uncovered boundary case between different ","authors_text":"Mei Yin","cross_cats":["cond-mat.stat-mech","math-ph","math.MP"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.PR","submitted_at":"2020-08-13T00:57:21Z","title":"Remarks on power-law random graphs"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2008.05625","kind":"arxiv","version":2},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:addee9729bbfe44b85516c426473d83461b22c44f4a5beb71c1429cfb8062e00","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T04:49:41Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"cf7c648ee0db6e48b407523a2ce3a02ea00b563ff1ac402d8267faa9af03910d","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.stat-mech","math-ph","math.MP"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.PR","submitted_at":"2020-08-13T00:57:21Z","title_canon_sha256":"720d5b7abeffd6cd0b7dcdca8669cc7be5becdd897f0803a3c0a695b8ee7a86d"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2008.05625","kind":"arxiv","version":2}},"canonical_sha256":"0b7850ca92276316350bde94ae2fbfa286ec9d70cb3b0382e7cc6c8d13502a80","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"0b7850ca92276316350bde94ae2fbfa286ec9d70cb3b0382e7cc6c8d13502a80","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T04:49:41.322270Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T04:49:41.322270Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"FowZWJUtBZN0Xr/wzBiakKwXpUu1XWOs0652s76UlZuZV57Sbpfdq5BHOpuNApPTXEqkRs9a5ZiSvO1OjjslDw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T04:49:41.322664Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2008.05625","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":2}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:addee9729bbfe44b85516c426473d83461b22c44f4a5beb71c1429cfb8062e00","sha256:2d020f57a725a3967e5576821a551b01a1da355422fddb18f9276cb79c5ac857"],"state_sha256":"2cc22e5ff422afaa5127b5caaba328eacd8ba664214d7c16545534d311db5382"}
