Gedeon conjectured an explicit formula for the equivariant Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials of thagomizer matroids with an action of symmetric groups. In this paper, we discover a new formula for these polynomials which is related to the equivariant Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials of uniform matroids.
