We show that this expectation can be overturned in the bottomonium sector. In a coupled-channel meson exchange framework combined with the complex scaling method, we find a $J^{PC}=1^{--}$ pole, denoted as $Y(10650)$, generated dominantly by the $P$-wave $B^*\\bar B^*$ interaction and located close to the $B^*\\bar B^*$ threshold. This pole naturally accounts for the anomalous enhancement observed just above the o","authors_text":"Cheng-Ping Shen, Jian-Bo Cheng, Jun-Zhang Wang, Lu Meng, Shi-Lin Zhu, Yu-Bo Li, Zi-Yang Lin","cross_cats":["hep-ex"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-ph","submitted_at":"2025-05-05T15:50:39Z","title":"Emergence of the exotic bottomoniumlike state $Y(10650)$ and support from Belle and Belle II data"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2505.02742","kind":"arxiv","version":2},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:0f3fa8a440fe7dfb73f20fd3ad5493e5d72709d6f37ffb5a3b3909a99eb67f7d","target":"record","created_at":"2026-06-09T01:05:06Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"416fa370330309e16b5df52e4e7093e8d45ef9f943a6ed167849eb659126c12e","cross_cats_sorted":["hep-ex"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-ph","submitted_at":"2025-05-05T15:50:39Z","title_canon_sha256":"ef19fe045903cb6d50db6e1245575dae3e71e5d08a80b0b582dc2c40a4105e0f"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2505.02742","kind":"arxiv","version":2}},"canonical_sha256":"30e63a0ed8bdd65f2180ca046fba501ab04abe2fafe41aa26b85fe222099480b","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"30e63a0ed8bdd65f2180ca046fba501ab04abe2fafe41aa26b85fe222099480b","first_computed_at":"2026-06-09T01:05:06.505944Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-06-09T01:05:06.505944Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"oSHfP7ERh8COlQAI18TsrFsV/O3OyeSw/tuW58QdIlI3w5TKkbE95s8gzpQFka+aN23iFZNqUdIV5Ys5r0CGDA==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-06-09T01:05:06.506528Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2505.02742","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":2}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:0f3fa8a440fe7dfb73f20fd3ad5493e5d72709d6f37ffb5a3b3909a99eb67f7d","sha256:d33858be09c41de93f45ea370ae71fd68650e6ef429be49f364f5fa0a835399f"],"state_sha256":"daaf808c8e74da792e9bdd255081dd3194bdbc3d3a68ea97c77752bd40b669e3"}
