Here, we comprehensively investigate the hybridization mechanism of photon-plasmon modes based on opto-plasmonic microtubular cavities. By changing the cavity structure and the metal layer thickness, weakly, moderately and strongly hybridized resonant modes are demonstrated depending on the photon-plasmon coupling strength.
