We find that circumbinary discs may be identified by i) a central cavity, ii) spiral arms both in and outside of their central cavities, iii) non-localised perturbations in their iso-velocity curves, iv) asymmetry between the lines of maximum speed of the blue and red-shifted wings and v) asymmetry between the area of the blue and red-shifted wings.
