A simple strategy is to choose top-$r$ ranked nodes as spreaders according to influence ranking method such as PageRank, ClusterRank and $k$-shell decomposition. Besides, some heuristic methods such as hill-climbing, SPIN, degree discount and independent set based are also proposed.
