The valence quark approximation is employed which is justified for moderate constituent quark masses ($\\sim$ 400 MeV) as the contribution of the valence quark level dominates the predictions of nucleon properties. As examples the unpolarized structure functions for the ${\\nu}p$ and ${\\bar \\nu}p$ scattering and the structure functions entering the Gottfried sum rule are discussed.
