By applying the optical spectroscopy from SDSS DR7/DR8 and the DESI survey, we analyse the gas content and physical properties of AGN-hosting galaxies in group environments. Our results show that AGN-hosting galaxies exhibit significantly suppressed star formation rates and HI gas fraction, approximately one order of magnitude lower than star-forming counterparts, regardless of their group-centric position.
