We demonstrate that for squeezed Fock states with low $n$ the engineered Hamiltonians reproduce the $\\sqrt{n}$ scaling of the matrix elements which is typical of Jaynes-Cummings physics, and also examine deviations due to the finite wavelength of our control fields.
