We investigate a class of quiver-type Chern-Simons gauge theories with some Chern-Simons couplings vanishing. The vanishing of the couplings means that the corresponding vector fields are auxiliary fields. We show that these theories possess N=4 supersymmetry by writing down the actions and the supersymmetry transformation in terms of component fields in manifestly Spin(4) covariant form.

  1. Kac-Moody algebras from M5-giants

The single-sum giant graviton expansion of ADHM Higgs indices is proposed to encode, in two fugacity limits, the vacuum characters of the affine Kac-Moody algebras \ hat su(l)_1^{\ times m} and \ hat su(l)_m.

  2. Finiteness and Uniqueness of Duality Cascades in Three Dimensions for Affine Quivers

    hep-th 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

For affine D and E quiver Chern-Simons theories, duality cascades terminate uniquely only under large-rank restrictions because the associated polytope tiles the parameter space with gaps.
