We present a model for electron- and neutrino-scattering off nucleons and nuclei focussing on the quasielastic and resonance region. The lepton-nucleon reaction is described within a relativistic formalism that includes, besides quasielastic scattering, the excitation of 13 N* and Delta resonances and a non-resonant single-pion background. Recent electron-scattering data is used for the state-of-the-art parametrizations of the vector form factors; the axial couplings are determined via PCAC and, in the case of the Delta resonance, the axial form factor is refitted using neutrino-scattering data. Scattering off nuclei is treated within the GiBUU framework that takes into account various nuclear effects: the local density approximation for the nuclear ground state, mean-field potentials and in-medium spectral functions. Results for inclusive scattering off Oxygen are presented and, in the case of electron-induced reactions, compared to experimental data and other models.

  1. Interaction-model dependence in calorimetric energy reconstruction methods due to non-linear material effects in modern neutrino detectors

    hep-ex 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Calorimetric neutrino energy reconstruction carries an interaction-model-dependent bias of ~7-18 MeV from Birks quenching and charge recombination, reducible to ~3.5 MeV with idealised hybrid tracking.

  2. Neutrino nucleus Quasi-Elastic and resonant Neutral Current scatterings with Non-Standard Interactions

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Axial non-standard neutrino interactions can mimic or be disentangled from nucleon form-factor effects in neutral-current quasi-elastic and resonance scattering, and tau-flavor couplings may already be bounded by KamL...

  3. What Cosine Similarity of Label Representations Can and Cannot Tell us

    cs.LG 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

For softmax classifiers, cosine similarity of unembeddings is uninformative about model probabilities because it can be reset to ±1 while leaving all probabilities unchanged.

  4. Weak charged current induced electron and positron scattering off proton at JLab and MAMI energies

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Calculated cross sections and spin observables for weak charged-current e±+p scattering at JLab-MAMI energies, presented as benchmarks to extract the axial dipole mass and test G- and T-invariance.
