The target fragmentation region of semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering is described at leading twist, taking beam and target polarizations into account. The formalism of polarized and transverse-momentum dependent fracture functions is developed and the observables for some specific processes are presented.

  1. Gluonic nucleon energy correlators and fracture functions for Color Glass Condensate

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Gluonic nucleon energy correlators in the CGC reduce at eikonal accuracy to the unpolarized and linearly polarized gluon components, both given by the adjoint dipole S-matrix, and the linearly polarized one drives a s...

  2. Short-Range Correlations Between Partons in a Proton

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Proposes EIC jet-pion-electron measurements to detect and quantify short-range quark pair correlations in protons, expecting ud pairs to dominate due to diquark attraction.

  3. Energy Correlators Resolving Proton Spin

    hep-ph 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

The work establishes a correspondence between spin-dependent energy correlators and polarized TMDs/NECs using SCET, yielding N3LL/N2LL predictions for correlation patterns in current and target fragmentation regions.
