  1. Deriving on-shell open string field amplitudes without using Feynman rules

    hep-th 2019-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

New gauge-invariant functionals of the open string field are shown to reproduce on-shell tree-level amplitudes around known D-brane backgrounds without using Feynman rules.

  2. Singular field redefinition between Witten's string field theory and Witten's theory deformed by Ellwood invariant

    hep-th 2026-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A singular field redefinition connects Witten's open string field theory to its Ellwood-invariant deformation, and the tachyon vacuum transfers consistently.

  3. Bernoulli Numbers and Multi-brane Solutions in Cubic String Field Theory

    hep-th 2019-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The parameters alpha_k of the proposed (N+1)-brane solutions in cubic string field theory are expressed in closed form using Bernoulli numbers for a generic N.

  4. On Analytical Solutions in Witten's Cubic Open String Field Theory

    hep-th 2024-12 accept novelty 3.0 of 10

A lecture-note review of analytic tachyon vacuum solutions in open string field theory, including a one-parameter family of which the b = -1 member is non-physical.
