Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT) is a lattice theory where aspects of quantum gravity can be studied. Two-dimensional CDT can be solved analytically and the continuum (quantum) Hamiltonian obtained. In this article we show that this continuum Hamiltonian is the one obtained by quantizing two-dimensional projectable Horava-Lifshitz gravity.

The emergence of the universe
A Jordan-algebra W3 model knits one-dimensional universes via wormholes into a 4D spacetime; a singular point of its modified Friedmann equation is claimed to explain the hierarchy and the small coupling g.

Quantum Gravity, Hydrodynamics and Emergent Cosmology: A Collection of Perspectives
The paper argues that an effective 'hydrodynamics on superspace' framework, realized in TGFT condensate cosmology, can unify quantum gravity and cosmology.
