abstract
In a previous work, we proposed an extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model including heavy quark flavors. In this work, we will calculate strong and radiative decays of vector mesons in this extended NJL model, including light $\rho$, $\omega$, $K^*$, $\phi$ and heavy $D^*$, $D^*_s$, $B^*$, $B^*_s$.

Relativistic effects in $\mbox{M1}$ radiative decays of heavy-light mesons
A relativistic potential model, with all parameters taken from meson masses, predicts M1 radiative widths for D and D_s mesons and gives a B_s hyperfine splitting close to the new CMS measurement.

Systematic study of light and charm meson M1 radiative transitions
The paper calculates vector meson magnetic moments and M1 radiative decay widths for light and charm mesons, finding that both models need empirical scale factors to match measured charm decays.
