abstract

A possible manifestation of an additional light gauge boson $A^\prime$, named as Dark Photon, associated with a group $U(1)_{\rm B-L}$ is studied in neutrino electron scattering experiments. The exclusion plot on the coupling constant $g_{\rm B-L}$ and the dark photon mass $M_{A^\prime}$ is obtained. It is shown that contributions of interference term between the dark photon and the Standard Model are important. The interference effects are studied and compared with for data sets from TEXONO, GEMMA, BOREXINO, LSND as well as CHARM II experiments. Our results provide more stringent bounds to some regions of parameter space.

  1. Filling the Gap: Hunting for Vector Bosons at the MUonE Experiment with Displaced Decay Signature

    hep-ph 2025-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

MUonE's displaced-vertex search, combining muon-electron and muon-nucleus production, could probe vector-boson mediators up to ~150 MeV and close a documented parameter-space gap.

  2. New benchmarks for direct detection of freeze-in dark matter in vector portal models

    hep-ph 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Freeze-in at low reheating temperatures allows MeV-scale dark matter in vector portal models to be probed by future direct detection experiments in nuclear recoils for 50-500 MeV masses and via enhanced solar neutrino...

  3. Probing Standard Model and Beyond with Reactor CE$\nu$NS Data of CONUS+ experiment

    hep-ph 2025-01 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Using CONUS+ reactor data, the authors constrain the weak mixing angle, neutrino electromagnetic properties, and light scalar and vector mediators, finding their most notable limit on neutrino millicharge when electro...

  4. Probing conventional and new physics at the ESS with coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering

    hep-ph 2025-01 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Projected ESS CEνNS measurements would improve current constraints on the weak mixing angle, nuclear neutron radii, and several new physics scenarios by large factors, and would lead in some unexplored mass ranges.

  5. Improved limits on a new $Z'$ in $B-L$ scenarios with the NA64 experiment at CERN

    hep-ex 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

NA64 sets improved upper limits on g_{B-L} for sub-GeV Z' using 9.4e11 electrons on target, exceeding prior neutrino-scattering bounds in the unbroken U(1)_{B-L} scenario.
