We introduce several new identities combining basic hypergeometric sums and integrals. Such identities appear in the context of superconformal index computations for three-dimensional supersymmetric dual theories. We give both analytic proofs and physical interpretations of the presented identities.

  1. Cardy limit of the 3d superconformal index

    hep-th 2025-09 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

In the Cardy limit the 3d superconformal index obeys Z ~ beta^{-#} on the first sheet and Z ~ e^{#/beta} on the second, with gauge-enhancing saddles screened for non-chiral theories.

  2. Flipping relation as a reduced star-star relation

    hep-th 2025-08 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A specific limit of the star-star relation produces the flipping relation, and new flipping solutions are given in several gamma-function families.
