abstract

The implications of the recently proposed Trans-Planckian censorship conjecture (TCC) are analyzed in the context of warm inflation. It is found that for a single-stage accelerated expansion the constraints imposed by the censorship are roughly the same as for cold inflation. Next, we study how a two-stage inflationary expansion with an intermediate radiation-dominated era can alleviate the bounds imposed by the censorship. For a demonstrative toy model we found $r<10^{-23}$, but can be $r<10^{-5}$ for a weaker form of TCC for the later stages of expansion, while still satisfying the other swampland conditions.

  1. WI2easy: warm inflation dynamics made easy

    astro-ph.CO 2025-04 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

WI2easy provides a public Mathematica implementation that computes warm inflation dynamics and curvature perturbation spectra via a deterministic Fokker-Planck approach, and shows that the universality of the G(Q) cor...

  2. Warming up the Fibres

    hep-th 2025-05 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

All four fibre inflation potentials are claimed to agree with CMB observations under warm inflation, and strong dissipation can shrink the inflaton field excursion below the Planck scale.

  3. Stage IV CMB forecasts for warm inflation

    astro-ph.CO 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Future CMB surveys are forecast to tighten the dissipation parameter of quartic warm inflation by up to an order of magnitude and to exclude the cubic dissipation model under a null tensor-to-scalar ratio.
