Warm inflation has been noted previously as a possible way to implement inflationary models compatible with the dS swampland bounds. But often in these discussions the heat bath dynamics is kept largely unspecified. We point out that the recently introduced Minimal Warm Inflation of arXiv:1910.07525, where an axionic coupling of the inflaton leads to an explicit model for the thermal bath, yields models of inflation that can easily fit cosmological observations while satisfying de Sitter swampland bounds, as well as the swampland distance bound and trans-Planckian censorship.

  1. WI2easy: warm inflation dynamics made easy

    astro-ph.CO 2025-04 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

WI2easy provides a public Mathematica implementation that computes warm inflation dynamics and curvature perturbation spectra via a deterministic Fokker-Planck approach, and shows that the universality of the G(Q) cor...

  2. Behaviour of $\alpha$-attractors in Warm Inflation

    astro-ph.CO 2025-06 reject novelty 5.0 of 10

In strongly dissipative warm inflation, T, E, and polynomial alpha-attractor models lose the cold-inflation attractor convergence in the n_s-r plane.

  3. Warming up the Fibres

    hep-th 2025-05 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

All four fibre inflation potentials are claimed to agree with CMB observations under warm inflation, and strong dissipation can shrink the inflaton field excursion below the Planck scale.

  4. Stage IV CMB forecasts for warm inflation

    astro-ph.CO 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Future CMB surveys are forecast to tighten the dissipation parameter of quartic warm inflation by up to an order of magnitude and to exclude the cubic dissipation model under a null tensor-to-scalar ratio.
