abstract

Using two suitable benchmark scenarios that satisfy the experimental constraints on the total decay width of the $125 \, {\rm GeV}$ Higgs boson, we determine the bounds on light CP-odd spin-0 states in the 2HDM+$a$ model that arise from existing LHC searches. Our work represents the first thorough study that considers the parameter space with $m_a \lesssim 100 \, {\rm GeV}$ and should prove useful for 2HDM+$a$ interpretations of future ATLAS, CMS and LHCb searches for pseudoscalars with masses below the electroweak scale.

  1. WIMPs Below the Radar: Blind Spots and Benchmarks Beyond the Neutrino Floor

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

In three WIMP models, blind spots and loop corrections keep spin-independent scattering below current bounds and, in parts of parameter space, below the neutrino floor, while satisfying thermal relic density.

  2. BSM: Extended Scalar Sectors

    hep-ph 2025-07 unverdicted novelty 1.0 of 10
