abstract
We reconstruct Barrow Holographic Dark Energy (BHDE) within the framework of Saez-Ballester Scalar Tensor Theory. As a specific background, we consider a homogeneous and anisotropic Kantowski-Sachs Universe filled up with BHDE and dark matter. By assuming the Hubble radius as an IR cutoff, we investigate both the cases of non-interacting and interacting dark energy scenarios. We analyze the evolutionary behavior of various model parameters, such as skewness parameter, Equation-of-State parameter, deceleration parameter, jerk parameter and squared sound speed. We also draw the trajectories of $\omega_D-\omega'_D$ phase plane and examine statefinder diagnosis. Observational consistency is discussed by inferring the current value of Hubble's parameter through the best fit curve of data points from Differential Age (DA) and Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) and commenting on cosmological perturbations and growth rate of matter fluctuations in BHDE. We show that our model satisfactorily retraces the history of the Universe, thus providing a potential candidate explanation for dark energy. Comparison with other reconstructions of BHDE is finally analyzed.

Cosmological consequences of scale-dependent Barrow-Tsallis entropy
A scale-dependent Barrow-Tsallis entropy cosmology fits cosmic data but is statistically disfavored versus ΛCDM, with only a modest and partially circular Hubble-tension 'alleviation'.

A comprehensive numerical study on four categories of holographic dark energy models
Seven holographic dark energy models are constrained with DESI BAO, Planck CMB, and PantheonPlus supernovae; LambdaCDM stays preferred, Ricci dark energy is ruled out, and event-horizon models show large data-set-depe...

Hints Beyond $\Lambda$CDM from Barrow and Tsallis Holographic Dark Energy with GO cutoff
Barrow holographic dark energy with the Granda-Oliveros cutoff fits current background data as well as ΛCDM and shows a weak AIC preference only for the Union3-based dataset combination.

Constraints on Barrow and Tsallis Holographic Dark Energy from DESI DR2 BAO data
Barrow and Tsallis holographic dark energy models fit DESI DR2 data but are disfavored by information criteria versus LambdaCDM and do not ease the Hubble tension.

Evidence for non-cold dark matter from DESI DR2 measurements
DESI BAO plus DES-Y5 supernovae favor a slightly negative dark matter equation of state at 2.4 sigma, but combining with Planck moves the best fit to a positive value, exposing a dataset-dependent tension.

Barrow and Tsallis entropies after the DESI DR2 BAO data
DESI DR2 BAO data, combined with supernovae and cosmic chronometers, favor a negative Barrow entropy parameter that corresponds to mildly phantom dark energy, but Lambda-CDM is still slightly preferred by information ...
