abstract
We explore the relevance of the central hill for a symmetric double-well potential and its impact on the scattering of kinks in a scalar field theory in (1+1)-dimensions. This region controls the inner core structure of the kink. We study how the disappearance of analyticity in this region of the potential affects the resonant features in $K\bar{K}$ scattering.

Resonance phenomena in vortex-antivortex collisions
Vortex–antivortex collisions in the deep type-II Abelian-Higgs model show multi-bounce windows embedded in annihilation regions, driven by a Feshbach resonant mode.

(Anti-)Stokes Scattering on the Domain Wall String
Meson scattering off a (2+1)-dimensional domain wall string can excite or de-excite the string's shape mode, and this paper gives the leading-order probability densities for both processes, including forward and backw...
