Although the proper oscillation frequencies of black holes (quasinormal modes) and the grey-body factors, which determine the scattering properties of black holes, represent two distinct spectral problems with different boundary conditions, a recent study has revealed an intrinsic connection between these quantities. We have shown that the correspondence between grey-body factors and quasinormal modes, previously established for spherically symmetric and asymptotically flat black holes, also extends to general parametrized axially symmetric black holes. This correspondence is limited to non-superradiant waves.

Regular Black Holes in General Relativity from Nonlinear Electrodynamics with de Sitter Cores
Two new regular black-hole solutions with de Sitter cores, supported by magnetic nonlinear electrodynamics, are constrained by Sgr A* shadows and shown to be linearly stable under scalar perturbations.

Relativistic accretion onto Kerr primordial black holes gives roughly 4.5x mass growth and fast spin-down, strengthening BBN bounds, lowering the survival mass to ~2.7e14 g, and erasing the high-frequency stochastic g...

Spectrum instability and greybody factor stability for parabolic approximation of Regge-Wheeler potential
Replacing the Regge-Wheeler potential by piecewise parabolas makes quasinormal-mode spectra unstable, with long-lived overtones, while greybody factors stay close to the exact Schwarzschild result.

Transition from Regular Black Holes to Wormholes in Covariant Effective Quantum Gravity: Scattering, Quasinormal Modes, and Hawking Radiation
For a quantum-corrected spacetime, the fundamental quasinormal mode differs little from Schwarzschild, higher overtones deviate significantly, and wormhole states have extremely long-lived modes.

Wave and particle probes of a regular T-duality-inspired black hole with gravitational self-energy
Increasing zero-point length makes photon and ISCO orbits more compact in ADM units while heavier scalars raise oscillation frequency and suppress damping on this regular self-energy black hole.

Gravitational perturbations of a regular T-duality inspired black hole: Quasinormal modes, excitation factors, and time-domain evolution
Gravitational quasinormal-mode frequencies of a T-duality-inspired regular black hole are computed, showing the zero-point length makes the ringdown oscillate faster and alters damping non-monotonically.

Long-lived quasinormal frequencies for regular black hole supported by the Einasto profile in the presence of the magnetic field
For Einasto-supported regular black holes, larger effective scalar mass and certain halo parameters suppress the quasinormal damping rate, producing long-lived modes and shifting grey-body factors toward higher frequencies.
