In the present work, we obtain and analyze a new class of analytical solutions of magnetically charged black bounces in k-essence theory, spherically symmetric in (3+1)-dimensions, coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics (NED). We consider two metric models, Simpson-Visser and Bardeen, for the k-essence configurations n = 1/3 and n = 1/5. We obtain in an analytical way which scalar field, field potential, and Lagrangian NED are necessary to support the metrics. We analyze the behavior of these quantities and the energy conditions due to the scalar field and the NED.

  1. On regular black string spacetimes in nonlinear electrodynamics

    gr-qc 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

No regular purely electric black strings exist in NED recovering the Maxwell limit, but regular cylindrical Bardeen and Hayward analogues are constructed with finite curvature.

  2. Field Sources for Wormholes With Multiple Throats/Anti-throats

    gr-qc 2024-12 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

For a wormhole metric with multiple throats and anti-throats, the authors build explicit phantom-scalar-plus-nonlinear-electrodynamics sources and show the energy conditions can hold locally near the center.

  3. Traversable Wormholes with Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking

    gr-qc 2024-11 reject novelty 3.0 of 10

The paper constructs phantom-scalar wormhole metrics and reverse-engineers a symmetry-breaking potential, but the solution does not satisfy the stated field equations for generic parameters and the photon-sphere radiu...
