We discuss the possibilities of extracting the constraints on New Physics by using the current data on the leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons. In doing so we use a general low energy Lagrangian that besides the vector and axial operators also includes the (pseudo-)scalar and tensor ones. In obtaining constraints on New Physics couplings we combine the experimental information concerning several decay modes with the accurate lattice QCD results for the hadronic matrix elements. We propose to study new observables that can be extracted from the angular analysis of the semileptonic decays and discuss their values both in the Standard Model and in some specific scenarios of physics beyond the Standard Model.

Neutrinoless Double-Beta Decays from Operator Mixing
Renormalization-group mixing lets heavy-quark dimension-seven operators feed neutrinoless double-beta decay, giving some of the strongest current bounds on these new-physics operators.

Challenging Majorana neutrino effects in $B\to K^{(\ast)}\nu\nu$ and $K\to \pi\nu\nu$ decays
Belle-II's B→Kνν excess cannot be explained by dimension-7 lepton-number-violating SMEFT operators without fine-tuning neutrino masses, while a light sterile-neutrino extension can, with testable decay spectra.

Flavor constraints from $pp\to Vh$ and $pp\to VW$ at the LHC
LHC data on pp→Vh and pp→VW yield general-flavor SMEFT constraints that will become competitive with flavor tests of the Cabibbo-angle anomaly at the HL-LHC.

Interpreting the results on exclusive $c\rightarrow s\mu\nu$ modes
Complex g_S proposed for the BESIII D o Kµ u anomaly is excluded by LHC high-p_T bounds; several real two-operator scenarios fit low- and high-energy data but are hard to see except in binned angular distributions of ...

Investigation of $\Lambda_c \to (\Lambda,n)\ell^+ \nu_\ell $ Decays in Standard Model and Beyond
A model-independent analysis of Lambda_c to (Lambda, neutron) l nu decays finds SM rates about 10 percent above experiment and proposes the muon-to-electron forward-backward asymmetry ratio as a robust new physics probe.

Scrutinizing lepton flavor universality and transition form factor correlation from charmed meson semileptonic decay into light strange vector $K^*$ meson
A light-cone sum-rule calculation predicts D_s^+→K^{*0} form factors and a muon/electron branching ratio R=0.950, consistent with the Standard Model.
