abstract
We discuss $F_{\mu\nu}^4$ terms in torroidal compactifications of type-I and heterotic SO(32) string theory. We give a simple argument why only short BPS multiplets contribute to these terms at one loop, and verify heterotic-type-I duality to this order.

Hodge Loci and Complex Multiplication via Generalized Symmetries in Calabi-Yau sigma models
Proposes a CFT analogue of Hodge loci in Calabi-Yau sigma models via non-trivial TDL categories of topological defects, with CM number field embeddings at special points for elliptic curves and K3 surfaces.

Generating Function of single-centered Black Hole Index in CHL Models
Constructs generating function for single-centered black hole index in Z_N CHL models by subtracting two-centered contributions from dyon index using bound state metamorphosis and proves convergence for N=2,3.

Logarithm of charge ratio in black hole entropy
Macroscopic computation of charge-ratio logarithmic corrections to black hole entropy agrees with microscopic results in N=4 and N=8 string theories after including string-scale cutoff, dilaton-dependent measure, Kalb...

Extended Supergravity Needs String Scale Cut-off
String-scale UV cut-off in the gravitational path integral removes string-coupling dependence from the BPS black hole index in extended supergravity, matching supersymmetry expectations for zero-Euler-number cases.
