Isolated objects in asymptotically flat spacetimes in general relativity are characterized by their conserved charges associated with the Bondi-Metzner-Sachs (BMS) group. These charges include total energy, linear momentum, intrinsic angular momentum and center-of-mass location, and, in addition, an infinite number of supermomentum charges associated with supertranslations. Recently, it has been suggested that the BMS symmetry algebra should be enlarged to include an infinite number of additional symmetries known as superrotations. We show that the corresponding charges are finite and well defined, and can be divided into electric parity "super center-of-mass" charges and magnetic parity "superspin" charges. The supermomentum charges are associated with ordinary gravitational-wave memory, and the super center-of-mass charges are associated with total (ordinary plus null) gravitational-wave memory, in the terminology of Bieri and Garfinkle. Superspin charges are associated with the ordinary piece of spin memory. Some of these charges can give rise to black-hole hair, as described by Strominger and Zhiboedov. We clarify how this hair evades the no-hair theorems.

Gravitational lensing of gravitational waves: universal characteristics of strongly lensed memory waveforms
Strongly lensed gravitational-wave memory waveforms acquire universal parity signatures—odd for type I/III images, even for type II—that can identify image type via a simple step-function approximation.

Gravitational Memory Beyond Null Infinity through Finite-Distance Carrollian Screens
Finite-distance null screens carry a Carrollian memory whose leading tracefree large-radius part reproduces the standard Bondi displacement memory in Robinson–Trautman spacetimes.

Fixing the center-of-mass frame of numerical relativity waveforms using the post-Newtonian center-of-mass charge
A post-Newtonian model of the boosted center-of-mass charge makes BMS frame-fixing of nonprecessing, unequal-mass NR waveforms less sensitive to the fitting window, reducing parameter variance by up to ~25x.

Twisting asymptotically-flat spacetimes
Twisting asymptotically-flat spacetimes are brought into a generalized Bondi gauge with finite radial expansion, producing new flux-balance laws, Carroll-boost symmetries, and finite supertranslated Kerr–Taub–NUT metrics.

Supertranslations in the bulk of spacetime
Supertranslations can be defined in the bulk as changes of null hypersurfaces, extending boundary symmetries into the interior and producing a curvature-dependent memory effect in Schwarzschild.

Asymptotic Generation of Kerr Geometry from Schwarzschild via BMS Supertranslations
The paper claims two BMS supertranslations map Schwarzschild's asymptotic metric to a Kerr-like one, but the matching equations are inconsistent.
