Technical description of the new project called All Sky Automated Survey and results of the tests of our prototype instrument are presented. The ultimate goal of this project is photometric monitoring of the large area of the sky with fully automated, low cost instruments. Possible applications of the project are indicated and future prospects discussed. At present over hundred square degrees is observed 5-10 times each night in I-band, alowing us to monitor over 30 000 stars brighter than 12-13 magnitude. Full description, pictures and current status of the project can be found at http://sirius.astrouw.edu.pl/~gp/asas/asas.html .

ASASSN-24fw: An 8-month long, 4.1 mag, optically achromatic and polarized dimming event
A deep eight-month, nearly achromatic, polarized eclipse of the F star ASASSN-24fw is best explained by a circumbinary disk of big (about 20 micrometer) carbonaceous or water-ice grains.

VarWISE: Infrared Variability via NEOWISE Single Exposure Photometry
VarWISE catalog identifies 457,080 high-confidence infrared variables (49.81% new) and an extended set of 1.9 million from NEOWISE photometry via spatial clustering, VARnet detection, and XGBoost classification.

A Comprehensive Study of the Dust Declines in R Coronae Borealis Stars
Using 1536 dust declines across 162 RCB stars, the study finds cooler stars decline more often and presents evidence that R CrB and SU Tau fade randomly while RY Sgr's fades cluster near pulsation periods.

Classification of Periodic Variable Stars from TESS
A machine-learned catalog of 72,505 periodic variable stars from TESS 2-minute data classifies 70,100 newly predicted objects into 12 subtypes with claimed purities of 83 to 99 percent.

Long-term investigation of gamma Cas analogs
Long-term monitoring confirms binary status for five gamma Cas analogs with periods 59-322 days and ~1 solar mass companions, plus X-ray variability correlated with optical changes in SS397.

Spectral Disentangling Reveals Deep CNO-cycle Exposure in ET Cru
Spectral disentangling of ET Cru yields masses of 13.41 and 6.00 solar masses with 1.3% precision and shows the secondary has severe CNO-cycle chemical anomalies exceeding typical Algol systems.

Eppur binaria non \'e esclusa: Gaia astrometry does not disfavor a binary origin for Long Secondary Periods
Gaia astrometry remains consistent with a binary origin for long secondary periods once sample contamination by semi-regular variables is accounted for.
