We study thermal leptogenesis induced by decays of a scalar SU(2)_L triplet. Despite the presence of gauge interactions, unexpected features of the Boltzmann equations make the efficiency close to maximal in most of the parameter space. We derive the maximal CP asymmetry in triplet decays, assuming that it is generated by heavier sources of neutrino masses: in this case successful leptogenesis needs a triplet heavier than 2.8 10^{10} GeV and does not further restrict its couplings, allowing detectable mu --> e gamma, tau --> mu gamma rates in the context of supersymmetric models. Triplet masses down to the TeV scale are viable in presence of extra sources of CP-violation.

  1. Particle production from bubble collisions

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

Heavy particles are produced in bubble-wall collisions by on-shell partonic scatterings, not by off-shell decay of the classical field, so the earlier rates and their phenomenological signals are parametrically overestimated.

  2. Thermal Leptogenesis in the BNT Model of Neutrino Mass

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the BNT neutrino-mass model, thermal leptogenesis can explain the observed baryon asymmetry with triplet masses above roughly 3.5e7 GeV in the hierarchical case and as low as 1.7 TeV with resonant enhancement.

  3. Type II Seesaw Leptogenesis in a Majoron background

    hep-ph 2025-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Spontaneous wash-in leptogenesis in Type II Seesaw with Majoron pNGB background enables baryon asymmetry generation alongside dark matter cogenesis for specific v_T, v_sigma and m_j ranges.

  4. Leptogenesis with triplet scalars at electroweak scale

    hep-ph 2025-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Resonant leptogenesis from a 500 GeV doubly charged scalar in an extended Georgi-Machacek model can reproduce the observed baryon asymmetry, but the surviving parameter space pins the leptogenesis-active triplet VEV a...
