  1. High-order fluctuations of temperature in hot QCD matter

    hep-ph 2025-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Introduces a new thermodynamic state function enabling computation of high-order temperature fluctuations in hot QCD matter from heavy-ion collision data, predicting strong suppression and negative skewness in the QGP phase.

  2. Interaction fingerprints in temperature-fluctuation cumulants from the QCD crossover to nuclear liquid-gas criticality

    nucl-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Temperature-fluctuation cumulants in ideal, excluded-volume, and van der Waals hadron resonance gas track lattice QCD through the crossover, separate along freeze-out at low energy, and trace the nuclear liquid-gas Wi...

  3. Tracing the Evolution of Nuclear Excitation at the Electron-Ion Collider

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

BeAGLE simulations predict that event-by-event mean transverse momentum fluctuations (kappa) at the EIC are sensitive to cascade formation time and nuclear size, but not to beam energy.

  4. System size and energy dependence of the mean transverse momentum fluctuations at the LHC

    nucl-ex 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

ALICE reports the system-size and energy dependence of mean transverse momentum fluctuations at the LHC, including a new spherocity-dependent measurement in proton-proton collisions.
