  1. Light-like retarded correlators and the horizon

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 7.0 of 10

At large light-like momenta, holographic retarded correlators scale as a horizon-curvature-dependent power of ω, weaker than the naive ω^{2Δ−d}.

  2. Analytic approaches to perturbations of strongly coupled Yang-Mills plasma

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Seiberg-Witten instanton expansions combined with exact WKB period integrals allow analytic computation and continuation of quasinormal modes from large q to q=0.

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Semi-holographic systems with perturbative and holographic sectors exhibit prethermal time crystals through dissipationless modes in hydrodynamic channels plus short-wavelength instabilities that produce inhomogeneiti...

  4. Extracting more information from entropy

    hep-th 2025-01 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

The entropy stairway in a holographic plasma encodes twice the lowest quasi-normal mode, with entropy production rate proportional to the square of the pressure anisotropy.
