We extend the world model of Kamenshchik et al. to large perturbations by formulating a Zeldovich-like approximation. We sketch how this model unifies dark matter with dark energy in a geometric setting reminiscent of M-theory.

  1. A solid unification of the dark sector

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

A generalized Chaplygin-type solid unifies dark matter and dark energy via an early pressureless phase transitioning to a late solid phase that supports acceleration and produces distinct low-redshift perturbation signatures.

  2. Quasar cosmology II: joint analyses with Cosmic Microwave Background

    astro-ph.CO 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Quasar, supernova, BAO, DES, and CMB data are jointly compatible only in an interacting dark-energy model, not in Lambda-CDM, wCDM, or CPL.

  3. A comprehensive numerical study on four categories of holographic dark energy models

    astro-ph.CO 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Seven holographic dark energy models are constrained with DESI BAO, Planck CMB, and PantheonPlus supernovae; LambdaCDM stays preferred, Ricci dark energy is ruled out, and event-horizon models show large data-set-depe...

  4. Entropic Chaplygin-Gas cosmology and late-universe tension diagnostics

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

An entropic Chaplygin-gas dark sector can shift fitted H0 values, but the shift and any tension relief depend on supernova calibration and vanish with DES-Dovekie data.

  5. Resolving the Planck-DESI tension by nonminimally coupled quintessence

    astro-ph.CO 2025-08 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Non-minimally coupled quintessence resolves the Planck-DESI Ω_m tension at >3σ while the effective equation of state stays above w=-1 and other tensions on neutrino mass and growth rate are relieved.

  6. Is cosmological data suggesting a nonminimal coupling between matter and gravity?

    astro-ph.CO 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Fitting a one-parameter modified gravity model to Pantheon+, DES, and BAO data gives mixed evidence: the n=6 version is preferred by information criteria in most combinations, but n=4 and n=10 are often disfavored, an...
