abstract

Lattice QCD with $N_f=2$ flavours of sea quark is used to explore the spectrum and decay of a $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ spin-exotic hybrid meson. We test lattice determination of S-wave decay amplitudes at threshold using $b_1 \to \pi \omega$ where agreement with data is found. We find a hybrid meson state at 2.2(2) GeV with a partial width to $\pi b_1$ of 400(120) MeV and to $\pi f_1$ of 90(60) MeV.

  1. Quarkoniumlike states above open-flavor thresholds in Born-Oppenheimer EFT

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A QCD-constrained Born-Oppenheimer calculation organizes most observed quarkoniumlike states above open-flavor thresholds into heavy-quark-spin-symmetry multiplets and predicts a shallow X_b.

  2. Proton and neutron electromagnetic form factors from lattice QCD in the continuum limit

    hep-lat 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Nucleon electromagnetic radii and magnetic moments are extracted from lattice QCD in the continuum limit directly at the physical pion mass, with disconnected contributions included.

  3. Nucleon axial, tensor and scalar charges and $\sigma$-terms in lattice QCD

    hep-lat 2019-09 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Lattice QCD at physical pion mass with Nf=2+1+1 twisted mass fermions yields g_A^{u-d}=1.286(23), sigma_piN=41.6(3.8) MeV and per-flavor charges including charm.

  4. Probing how bright the quark-gluon plasma glows in lattice QCD

    hep-lat 2025-05 accept novelty 5.0 of 10

At T≈254 MeV, lattice QCD gives -[HE(ω2)-HE(ω1)]/T^2 = 0.193(74), on the low side of the AMY weak-coupling prediction interval [0.25,0.30].

  5. Nucleon charges and $\sigma$-terms in lattice QCD

    hep-lat 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

First-principles lattice QCD at the physical pion mass yields nucleon charges and sigma-terms in the continuum limit, with g_A^{u-d}=1.250(24) matching experiment.

  6. Lepton anomalous magnetic moments: Theory

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 2.0 of 10

The paper provides an overview of theoretical calculations for lepton anomalous magnetic moments arising from quantum corrections in the Standard Model.
