We describe how to disentangle the singly- and doubly-unresolved (soft and/or collinear) limits of tree-level QCD squared matrix elements. Using the factorization formulae presented in this paper, we outline a viable general subtraction scheme for computing next-to-next-to-leading order corrections for electron-positron annihilation into jets.

Double-real corrections to color singlet decay in a parton-shower inspired scheme
A parton-shower-inspired local subtraction scheme for double-real corrections in color singlet decays is introduced, with finiteness verified for the e+e- to qqbar remainder and phase-space integrals computed analytic...

CoLoRFulNNLO for hadron collisions: integrating the iterated single unresolved subtraction terms
The integrated iterated single-unresolved approximate cross section in CoLoRFulNNLO for hadron collisions is a convolution of the Born cross section with an insertion operator.

Triple real-emission contribution to the zero-jettiness soft function at N3LO in QCD
The paper provides the technical derivation and cross-checks of the triple-real-emission piece of the N3LO zero-jettiness soft function, confirming the result announced in arXiv:2409.11042.

CoLoRFulNNLO for color-singlet processes: An update on NNLOCAL
NNLOCAL extends CoLoRFulNNLO to color-singlet processes using generic QCD IR factorization counterterms integrated analytically for stable NNLO LHC cross sections.
