A quantizable action has recently been proposed for the superstring in an AdS_5 x S^5 background with Ramond-Ramond flux. In this paper, we construct physical vertex operators corresponding to on-shell fluctuations around the AdS_5 x S^5 background. The structure of these AdS_5 x S^5 vertex operators closely resembles the structure of the massless vertex operators in a flat background.

  1. D-branes and nonlinear interactions in the $AdS$ pure spinor string

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Zero-field half-BPS D-branes in the AdS5×S5 pure spinor string are organized by involutions exchanging the odd Z4 grades, and boundary BRST invariance gives DBI-like consistency equations.

  2. A note on the type II superstring vertex operators in the B-RNS-GSS formalism

    hep-th 2025-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

The paper constructs integrated and unintegrated vertex operators for the type II superstring in the B-RNS-GSS formalism, in flat spacetime and in AdS5 x S5.

  3. Topological A-Model for $AdS_5\times S^5$ Superstring and the Maldacena Conjecture

    hep-th 2025-06 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

A topological A-model from CP^{3|4} supertwistors is claimed to reproduce the 't Hooft expansion of N=4 SYM and is related to the pure spinor AdS5×S5 superstring.
