  1. Exact Schwarzian Metric Factor and Holographic Wilson-Loop Screening

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 7.0

Exact Schwarzian averaging yields a completely monotone metric factor with no confining minimum, so the Wilson-loop potential screens as E(L) ~ -κ_IR/L² rather than confining.

  2. A Lindbladian for holographic Brownian motion

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Derives and analyzes a Lindbladian for holographic Brownian motion in BTZ and AdS5 black brane backgrounds from the influence functional.

  3. Bound states and deconfinement from Romans supergravity with magnetic flux

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Holographic duals from Romans supergravity with Abelian magnetic flux yield confining 4D theories with a flux-driven zero-temperature deconfinement transition and a spectrum dominated by two nearly degenerate light sc...

  4. Anisotropic drag force in finite-density QGP from charged rotating 5D black holes

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0

The drag force on a heavy quark in a rotating finite-density holographic plasma is purely tangential and anisotropic, with worldsheet regularity fixing the renormalised transverse force and selecting a co-rotating equ...

  5. Confinement and chiral symmetry breaking in holography: a smooth switch-off

    hep-th 2026-01 unverdicted novelty 7.0

A continuous one-parameter family of holographic geometries interpolates between confining and deconfined phases, with string tension and chiral condensate vanishing smoothly at the black hole endpoint.

  6. Bound states and deconfinement from Romans supergravity with magnetic flux

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Holographic analysis of Romans supergravity solutions with Abelian magnetic flux yields a family of confining 4D duals featuring a flux-driven first-order deconfinement transition and two parametrically light, nearly ...

  7. Anisotropic drag force in finite-density QGP from charged rotating 5D black holes

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Exact and perturbative drag forces are derived for heavy quarks in holographic plasmas dual to charged rotating 5D black holes, with regularity conditions fixing integration constants and yielding finite anisotropic c...

  8. Light dilaton from top-down holographic confinement with magnetic fluxes

    hep-th 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0

In a two-flux family of top-down holographic confining theories, the lightest scalar is an approximate dilaton with mass about one tenth of the lightest spin-2 confinement scale, over a wide, untuned region of paramet...

  9. Dilatonic states, phase transitions, and criticality in holography

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 3.0

A review of holographic examples indicating that a light dilaton appears near critical endpoints of first-order zero-temperature phase transitions, with explicit but lower-dimensional demonstrations.
