The result of the 3-year neutrino magnetic moment measurement at the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant with the GEMMA spectrometer is presented. Antineutrino-electron scattering is investigated. A high-purity germanium detector of 1.5 kg placed at a distance of 13.9 m from the 3 GW(th) reactor core is used in the spectrometer. The antineutrino flux is 2.7E13 1/scm/s. The differential method is used to extract (nu-e) electromagnetic scattering events. The scattered electron spectra taken in 5184+6798 and 1853+1021 hours for the reactor ON and OFF periods are compared. The upper limit for the neutrino magnetic moment < 3.2E-11 Bohr magneton at 90% CL is derived from the data processing.

  1. Prospect of the NUCLEUS Experiment at Chooz for Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering and New Physics Searches

    hep-ex 2026-03 conditional novelty 6.0

Assuming the low-energy background can be eliminated, a 7-gram NUCLEUS detector at Chooz is projected to see coherent neutrino-nucleus scattering at 4.7σ in one year and to set competitive bounds on new neutrino interactions.

  2. Prospects of five-dimensional $L_\mu-L_\tau$ gauge interactions in the light of elastic neutrino-electron scatterings: The scope of the DUNE near detector

    hep-ph 2024-07 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Five-dimensional U(1)_{Lμ-Lτ} model predicts multiple gauge bosons whose contributions to elastic neutrino-electron scattering can be probed at DUNE, covering much of the muon (g-2) consistent parameter space.
