abstract

The interplay between the finite volume and finite lattice spacing is investigated using lattice QCD simulations to compute the Landau gauge gluon propagator. Comparing several ensembles with different lattice spacings and physical volumes, we conclude that the dominant effects, in the infrared region, are associated with the use of a finite lattice spacing. The simulations show that decreasing the lattice spacing, while keeping the same physical volume, leads to an enhancement of the infrared gluon propagator. In this sense, the data from $\beta=5.7$ simulations, which uses an $a \approx 0.18$ fm, provides a lower bound for the infinite volume propagator.

  1. The center-symmetric Landau gauge meets the lattice

    hep-lat 2024-12 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

A lattice implementation of the center-symmetric Landau gauge yields a local order parameter: the link average obeys predicted center-symmetry constraints below the deconfinement temperature and violates them above it.

  2. Nonrelativistic meson masses from the Curci-Ferrari model

    hep-ph 2025-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A potential model built from the Curci-Ferrari massive-gluon action fits charm and bottom meson spectra, and the fit prefers a nonzero gluon mass.

  3. The four-gluon and ghost-gluon vertices in the Landau gauge from lattice simulations

    hep-lat 2025-05 conditional novelty 3.0 of 10

Lattice data for the four-gluon vertex show an essentially constant F0 and an infrared-growing F2, while the ghost-gluon soft-gluon form factor matches previous calculations.

  4. High statistical computation of the Landau gauge ghost-gluon vertex

    hep-lat 2024-11 conditional novelty 3.0 of 10

High-statistics lattice data for the Landau gauge ghost-gluon vertex form factor H1 in the soft-gluon limit show a nearly flat momentum dependence compatible with previous lattice results.
