Analytic continuation of the perturbative series from spacelike to timelike regions is performed using renormalization group summed perturbation theory (RGSPT). This method provides an all-order summation of kinematic ``$\pi^2$-terms'' accessible from a given order of a perturbative series. The impact of the summation of these terms is studied for Higgs boson decay and electromagnetic R-ratio in the perturbative QCD. Results obtained using RGSPT have improved convergence behavior in addition to significantly reduced renormalization scale dependence compared to fixed-order perturbation theory (FOPT). The higher-order behavior using the Pad\'e approximant is also studied for processes considered.

  1. Perturbative QCD fitting of KEDR and BESIII $e^+e^-$ data for R(s) and $\alpha_s$ determination

    hep-ph 2026-03 conditional novelty 5.0

Fits of combined KEDR and truncated BESIII data yield α_s(M_Z)=0.1179 (NLO), 0.1221 (NNLO), 0.1313 (N3LO), with the rise attributed to π² analytic-continuation effects.

  2. Perturbative QCD fitting of KEDR and BESIII $e^+e^-$ data for R(s) and $\alpha_s$ determination

    hep-ph 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Combined fits of KEDR and BESIII R(s) data yield alpha_s(M_Z) = 0.1179, 0.1221, and 0.1312 at NLO, NNLO, and NNNLO, demonstrating strong dependence on perturbative truncation order.

  3. Perturbative QCD fitting of KEDR and BESIII $e^+e^-$ data for R(s) and $\alpha_s$ determination

    hep-ph 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Combined KEDR+BESIII R(s) fits below charm threshold yield α_s(M_Z) that systematically increases from NLO to N³LO, attributed to π² analytic-continuation effects.
