We consider interjet observables in hard QCD processes given by the energy flow E_out in a region away from all hard jets. Here the QCD radiation is depleted (E_out << Q), and therefore these observables provide ideal means to study non-perturbative effects. We derive an evolution equation (in the large N_c limit) which resums, for large Q/E_out, all leading terms arising from large angle soft emission (double logarithms are absent). We discuss the analytical features of the result and identify universal and geometry-dependent contributions. Our analysis confirms features found using numerical methods by Dasgupta and Salam.

  1. IRC-safe jet flavour at leading power

    hep-ph 2025-11 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

Adding leading-power quark-mass effects makes standard anti-kT b-jet flavour tagging infrared-collinear-safe through NNLO without changing jet or flavour definitions, up to power corrections.

  2. Precision $e^+e^-$ Hemisphere Masses in the Dijet Region with Power Corrections

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

N3LL' resummation for heavy jet and dihemisphere masses in the dijet region, with a new claim that heavy jet mass moments require an extra non-perturbative parameter at order 1/Q.

  3. Nested-GPT for variable-multiplicity parton showers: A case study in the resummation of non-global logarithms

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Nested-GPT is an autoregressive Transformer that dynamically generates variable-multiplicity parton showers matching Monte Carlo references for non-global logarithm resummation in the large-Nc limit.

  4. Logarithmically-accurate showers with massive quarks

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

PanScales final-state showers now include quark masses at NLL accuracy while keeping original accuracy for massless observables.

  5. The soft drop groomed jet radius at NLL

    hep-ph 2019-08 accept novelty 7.0 of 10

A next-to-leading-logarithmic factorization and resummation for the soft drop groomed jet radius, including non-global and clustering logarithms, with predictions for the LHC and RHIC.

  6. $V/H$+Jet Production with the Cambridge/Aachen Algorithm

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

C/A clustering reduces non-global and clustering logarithms relative to k_t at three loops and behaves comparably to k_t at all orders in V/H+jet jet-mass predictions.

  7. Regge trajectories, detectors, and distributions in the critical ${\rm O}(N)$ model

    hep-th 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the critical O(N) model, renormalizing detector and distribution light-ray operators at leading order in 1/N yields Regge intercepts, the leading-twist splitting function, and a BFKL-type anomalous spin.

  8. Clustering logarithms up to six loops

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

The five- and six-loop clustering logarithm coefficients for the kt jet algorithm are computed for the first time, and they are small enough to leave the four-loop result unchanged.

  9. Non-linear dynamics of jet quenching

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Jet energy loss out of the cone is governed by a non-linear rate equation whose solution feeds a non-linear DGLAP evolution, enabling resummation of alpha_s ln(1/R), alpha_s ln(R/theta_c), and powers of alpha_s L.

  10. One-Point energy correlator inside jets

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

A TMD factorization and NNLL resummation is derived for a one-point energy correlator inside jets, and the normalized observable mainly depends on the jet scale, with sensitivity to gluon TMDFFs.
