We show that the three dimensional Janus geometry can be embedded into the type IIB supergravity and discuss its dual CFT description. We also find exact solutions of time dependent black holes with a nontrivial dilaton field in three and higher dimensions as an application of the Janus construction.

Time-like Janus Solution -- holographic global quantum quench --
A time-like Janus solution with imaginary deformation parameter is proposed as a holographic toy model of a global quantum quench, with partial consistency checks from CFT one-point functions and late-time entanglemen...

Connecting boundary entropy and effective central charge at holographic interfaces
Holographic models of interface CFTs connect the effective central charge in entanglement entropy to a limiting case of boundary entropy, while adding finite terms for non-crossing intervals to satisfy strong subadditivity.

Janus correlators and Heun's equation
In the 3D Janus background, defect operator dimensions shift by O(c_J^2), and BOPE coefficients are read off as residues of Heun connection coefficients.

Nonrenormalization Theorem for ${\cal N}=(4,4)$ Interface Entropy
Interface entropy for half-BPS interfaces in N=(4,4) 2D CFTs is given by the Kähler diastasis and is invariant under conformal manifold isometries, yielding a non-renormalization theorem.

Holographic Correlators of Boundary/Crosscap CFTs in Two Dimensions
Explicit bulk derivations yield two- and three-point stress tensor correlators in AdS3/BCFT2 and scalar and stress tensor correlators for XCFT2 on RP2, with tension independence and finite-cutoff deformations.

Building an AdS/BCFT Josephson junction within Horndeski gravity
AdS/BCFT with Horndeski gravity is claimed to yield Josephson junctions whose phase and current depend on the Horndeski couplings, but the condensate and critical temperature are put in by hand.
