We construct a new, simple phenomenological model along the lines of AdS/QCD. The essential new ingredient is the brane-antibrane effective action including the open string tachyon proposed by Sen. Chiral symmetry breaking happens because of tachyon dynamics. We fit a large number of low-spin meson masses at the 10%-15% level. The only free parameters involved in the fits correspond to the overall QCD-scale and the quark masses. Several aspects of previous models are qualitatively improved.

  1. Flavour current correlators and the non-Abelian hydrodynamic approximation: the charged sector

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Isospin-imbalanced strongly coupled dense matter is shown, via holography, to obey non-Abelian hydrodynamic predictions for current correlators up to the chemical-potential scale, beyond the standard ω,k ≪ T regime.

  2. Superconnections in AdS/QCD and the hadronic light-by-light contribution to the muon $g-2$

    hep-ph 2024-11 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

A scalar-extended Chern-Simons superconnection in hard-wall AdS/QCD improves f1-f1' mixing and photon rates while leaving the combined axial-vector plus excited-pseudoscalar HLBL contribution to muon g-2 stable near 32e-11.

  3. Tachyonic AdS/QCD, Determining the Strong Running Coupling and \beta-function in both UV and IR Regions of AdS Space

    hep-ph 2022-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

A tachyonic AdS/QCD construction deforms the bulk geometry with a tachyon-dependent dielectric function to produce a unified running coupling from perturbative UV to nonperturbative IR regimes.
