abstract
We present results of the first ab initio lattice QCD calculation of the normalization constants and first moments of the leading twist distribution amplitudes of the full baryon octet, corresponding to the small transverse distance limit of the associated S-wave light-cone wave functions. The P-wave (higher twist) normalization constants are evaluated as well. The calculation is done using $N_f=2+1$ flavors of dynamical (clover) fermions on lattices of different volumes and pion masses down to 222 MeV. Significant SU(3) flavor symmetry violation effects in the shape of the distribution amplitudes are observed.

Light Cone Distribution Amplitude for the $\Lambda$ Baryon from Lattice QCD
The first lattice QCD extraction of the Lambda baryon's light-cone distribution amplitude via LaMET yields a momentum-fraction distribution peaked at small light-quark momenta.

Hybrid Renormalization for Baryon Distribution Amplitudes from Lattice QCD in LaMET
A hybrid renormalization scheme removes linear divergences from baryon quasi-DAs on the lattice, producing smooth continuum distributions at multiple spacings.

Implications on CP violation of charmless three body decays of bottom baryon from the U-spin analysis
U-spin symmetry converts recent LHCb CP-violation measurements in Lambda_b charmless three-body decays into CP-asymmetry predictions for Xi_b^0 and Sigma^0 channels, plus a null test for the Standard Model.
